So... yeah. It's maths exam the day after, and i'm here blogging.I..
I just dont have the mood to study, you see.
So i'm gonna blog about BRATs.
The experience was really awesome, I couldnt be happier that I could speak chinese, cuz the hand made soap lady owner of the shop could only speak chinese, and therefore i got the chance to interview her, since i was the only person in the group who is fluent in chinese.
I also noticed a drastic change in myself, as day 2, when we went to the Portuguese Settlement, they actually provided Portuguese tradisional costumes, and we could actually try them! Only 2 costumes were available, and when they asked who wants to volunteer to wear, I actually raised up my hand! I knew i very much wanted to try it, since its like my only chance... If it were the me last time, i wouldnt have raised up my hand even if i really, really wanted it.
Now, i feel happy and overjoyed that i actually overcome that :)We had to finish our assignments in the room the whole day, and that actually made me even more sure that i am NOT gonna be a journalist when i grow up.
I mean, i dont want to face the computer the whole day, cracking my head for a best article, i dont wanna wait for hours under the hot sun for the people i wanna interview (although we were lucky they didnt do that to us, but when u are an official journalist i'm sure something like this will happen), and i dont like flying to places every single day.
I like consistency and comfort.
I like to stay in one place, that place that I know is safe no matter what, that place that i can always go back to when i'm in any trouble or condition.
Overrall, it was kinda fun, and it was a great experience. Others might think it is the best camp ever, but i dont really think so. I feel that i didnt really bond with the people there, but i really bonded with the people in Outward bound camp, like Sue Yi.. Isabelle.. Vignesh.. Michelle... Melanie...
The reason why is that we were divided in to groups, then divided again according to the assignment u choose, article, photo essay or video. For outward bound, we are together all the time, not separated.
This is me, Pera and Nathalie. They are one of the few people in the camp that i felt naturally comfortable when i talk to them :)siew mayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
